Become a contributor
This page sets out the rules for proposing a contribution to the 2030 space. Reading them before you write helps you prepare a text in line with the editorial approach and makes the assessment quicker. For a general overview see How to take part.
Who can contribute
Participation is open to scholars, professionals, researchers, associations, public bodies and companies, and to anyone with relevant expertise or experience. No academic qualification is required: what matters is the soundness of the reasoning and the quality of the sources.
Eligible themes
Contributions fall under one of the five themes and should connect to at least one Sustainable Development Goal of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, stating it explicitly.
Tone and length
Accessible yet well documented texts, able to explain a topic clearly to a non-specialist audience without giving up rigour. Indicative length: between 800 and 1,500 words.
Originality and sources
The contribution must be original and previously unpublished. Factual claims, data and statistics must be supported by official, verifiable sources, cited precisely and, where possible, with a link. Any use of artificial intelligence tools should be declared; responsibility for the content and fact-checking remains with the author.
How to submit
Proposals are sent by email. Include a provisional title, a short abstract (five to ten lines) and a brief biographical note.

Review process
The editorial team assesses each proposal for relevance, quality and consistency. It may accept it, request changes or decide not to proceed. Submission does not guarantee publication.
Licence and rights
In short
On publication the author grants Law & Technology a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish the text on this website and retains all rights in the work: authorship remains with the author, who stays free to republish it elsewhere, citing its first appearance on 2030. As the website is bilingual, publication includes authorisation to translate and publish the contribution in its Italian and English versions, with attribution to the author.
Ethics and responsibility
Contributions must comply with the law and applicable professional conduct, contain nothing defamatory or discriminatory, and handle any personal data in line with the applicable rules, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The author warrants that they hold the rights to the texts and images submitted.
Withdrawal
You may request the withdrawal of a proposal before publication. After publication, requests for removal or updating are considered case by case.
