A.I. is devoted to artificial intelligence in its ethical, governance and social dimensions. The section addresses who sets the criteria by which a machine processes information and decides, and how responsibility is assigned when such systems act. Its perspective is the meeting point of technology and law that characterises the project. The contributions engage with Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions).
